Octavia Hill’s Birthplace House is owned and managed by an independent charity, the Octavia Hill Birthplace Museum Trust. It relies on visitor income and the generosity of individual donors. The House is run entirely by volunteers.
The Trust’s achievements include:
• Promoting research into the life of Octavia Hill.
• Developing an education outreach programme for schools and other institutions.
• Establishing the international Octavia Hill Society network.
